The Stages of a Video Production Project

Pre-Production

Every great project starts with a great plan. We’ll work together to develop a creative brief, a script and a schedule to take us into production. When working together during pre-production, we’ll start by discussing these questions:

  • What’s your audience?

  • What’s your goal?

  • What deliverables will you need?

Production

In this phase, our talented crews will gather original footage for your video. Filming can take place a variety of ways:

  • On location

  • In a studio

  • Remotely

For animated video projects, we’ll create all the design elements that you’ll see in the final animation.

Post-Production

As your story takes shape, you’ll receive “work-in-progress” cuts to review at regular intervals. Many important creative elements are finalized during post production:

  • Graphics

  • Voiceover talent

  • Music, sound design and mix

  • Color correction

Once approved, we’ll create deliverables (including accessibility features like captions and audio description) that perfectly fit your distribution plan.
